Job summary

Axcis Education Recruitment is seeking a Deaf Support TA to work with deaf/hearing-impaired students in a London-area secondary school in Kidbrooke. The role is full-time with an immediate start and a daily rate around £150.

The ideal candidate will have BSL skills (Level 3 preferred, Level 2 considered), a passion for helping children, and a patient, supportive approach. DBS and safeguarding checks will be required.

Qualifications

• BSL Level 3 preferred – candidates with Level 2 may also be considered
• A passion for supporting children and young people
• A patient, approachable and supportive personality
• Experience working within education/SEND is desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

• Support deaf/hearing-impaired students in a secondary school setting in Kidbrooke
• Assist with communication and learning activities to aid student progress
