Job summary

HVAC Recruitment Limited is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator / Labourer for a 6-week temporary assignment in Chippenham. 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with an ASAP start. You will safely operate counterbalance/reach forklifts, load/unload goods, and help with warehouse duties in a busy logistics environment.

Applicants must hold a valid forklift licence with at least 1 year of experience, and demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety, reliability and punctuality.

Qualifications

Valid, accredited forklift licence/certificate (e.g. RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent) required.
Minimum 1 year of proven commercial forklift operating experience.
Strong commitment to health and safety, reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a counterbalance/reach forklift truck in a fast-paced environment.
Load and unload incoming/outgoing HGV trailers and delivery vehicles.
Transport pallets and materials to storage areas and high-bay racking.
Conduct pre-shift and post-shift equipment safety checks and report defects.
Pick, wrap and stage products accurately for dispatch.
Maintain a clean, tidy, obstruction-free workspace and warehouse floor.
Assist with general warehouse and manual handling duties when required.
