Job summary

Hewett Recruitment is seeking a Finance Assistant to join a client's team in Hereford for a temporary period. The role focuses on processing invoices, reconciliations, and purchase orders, with some ad hoc tasks to support the finance function.

The ideal candidate has prior finance experience, is proficient in Excel and ERP systems, and can work independently while chasing information from colleagues and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Has previous Finance/Accounts experience
• Is confident using Excel and ERP/accounting systems
• Is organised, accurate and able to work independently
• Is confident chasing colleagues and suppliers for information
• Has 5 years' UK residency

Responsibilities

• Processing supplier invoices and employee expenses
• Reconciling payments and supplier statements
• Raising POs and placing supplier orders
• Chasing missing or historical information
• Supporting Finance Managers with ad hoc tasks
