Sanctuary Housing Association in Banbury is seeking a temporary Customer Account Officer to handle rent queries and payments for Homeownership properties nationwide. The role is based in Banbury, 37.5 hours/week, for up to 6 months, with a salary of £33,356 per year (pro rata).

You will work as part of the Income Services Homeownership team, managing arrears, liaising with Local Authorities regarding Universal Credit, and ensuring high-quality income management while handling phone and email

Qualifikationen

• Customer service experience including debt collection and arrears support.
• Strong communication and telephone handling skills.
• Experience with housing management and related issues.

Aufgaben

• Act as first point of contact for customers at risk or facing legal action.
• Ensure notices and pre-court processes are applied correctly.
• Develop relationships with customers, Local Authorities, and external agencies to manage income services.
• Proactively handle complaints and aim for first contact resolution.
