Job summary

Brackenberry Limited is recruiting an HGV Driver for a 2-month contract in Coventry. The role involves operating authorised Class 2 HGV vehicles to perform waste collection, recycling, highway sweeping and drainage while upholding health and safety and legal standards.

Responsibilities include safe operation, vehicle inspections, documentation, and adherence to working hours rules. Immediate or short notice availability is preferred; DBS considerations may apply.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence required.
• Driver CPC certificate required.
• Good knowledge of road transport legislation.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 HGV vehicles across Coventry and surrounding areas.
• Carry out vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Complete required vehicle and operational documentation.
• Undertake waste collection, recycling, highway sweeping, drainage and other duties.
• Ensure vehicle weights do not exceed maximum limits.
• Monitor drivers' working hours in line with tachograph regulations.
