Job summary

Jobwise Ltd in Farnworth is seeking a Temporary Catering Assistant to join a long-established national business. You will provide a first-class service to staff, support meetings, catering and the smooth running of the office social and kitchen areas.

This temporary role starts on 23 September with approximately 3 days' training, then covering from 28 September to 2 October. You will assist with meetings, refreshments, stock control and payments, ensuring a tidy, welcoming kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Catering Support, Hospitality, Front of House

Responsibilities

• Arrange and provide refreshments for booked and ad hoc meetings.
• Prepare meeting rooms and ensure cleanliness after meetings.
• Liaise with external catering companies.
• Stock vending stations and monitor kitchen supplies.
• Prepare lunch for Directors.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming kitchen and social area.
• Manage stock levels and orders.
• Take contactless payments for snacks and items.
• Assist with buffet lunches and catering for events.
• Provide friendly, professional service to staff and visitors.
