Job summary

FE Resources – Finance Assistant – Temporary & Bank Staff in Lincoln is seeking an enthusiastic candidate to deliver timely and accurate financial information, maintain efficient financial systems and controls, and record cash and banking for the College and its subsidiaries.

Duties include purchase ledger processing, supplier payment runs, creditors queries, reconciling statements, posting cash book, and raising sales invoices; the ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or part-qualified to

Qualifications

• AAT qualification or part-qualification to Level 2.
• Excellent numerical, written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase ledger including processing purchase orders, invoices and payment schedules.
• Support Finance Manager with supplier and student payment runs and posting of Direct Debit payments.
• Liaise with Suppliers and Internal Customers to resolve queries related to creditors.
• Reconcile Supplier Statements and obtain copy invoices as needed.
• Process cash book postings.
• Assist in processing sales ledger documents including raising sales invoices.
