Job summary

Ardenglen Housing Association in Glasgow is seeking a Temporary Asset Compliance Assistant to cover a 12-month maternity leave within the Asset Management team. The role will lead on gas, electrical, fire safety, asbestos, damp and legionella compliance and support the Customer Services team.

You will supervise Customer and Asset Support staff, maintain records, monitor contractor performance, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality compliance services.

Responsibilities

• First point of Contact: for all compliance and health & safety works, including the "Big 7": gas, electrical, fire, asbestos, legionella, damp & mould, lift maintenance.
• Tenant Safety: Lead on Residents Health and Safety Compliance, statutory compliance, and contract management.
• Support the delivery of Repairs and Asset Management Services: Ensuring repairs are recorded, monitored and progressed efficiently; maintaining accurate records; supporting contractor performance monitoring; and assisting the Asset Management Team in delivering high-quality repairs, maintenance and compliance services.
• General Support: Assisting our Customer Services Team by providing training, support and cover as required.
• Deliver excellent Customer Service: Putting the customer at the heart of all decisions and ensuring they are treated with respect at all times.
• Teamwork: Work closely with all Teams throughout Ardenglen to deliver excellent services and drive continuous improvement across the Association.
• Shape the future: Play a key role in delivering Ardenglen’s 5-year Business Plan by working to our Visions and Values, and actively contributing to our business improvement plans.
