Job summary

Eaton Syalon Ltd is recruiting a Temporary Accounts Assistant in Nottingham for a 3-month period. The role is office based with one day per week work from home after successful training. You will support with transactional accounts work and assist the Head of Finance with month-end tasks.

The ideal candidate will have varied transactional/month-end experience, strong Excel skills, and SAP experience is preferred but not essential. Start week commencing 2 November.

Qualifications

• Experience in transactional and month-end accounting.
• Strong Excel skills.
• SAP experience preferred but not essential.
• Able to communicate with all levels of business.
• Available to start week commencing 2 November.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month end accounts preparation.
• Post accruals, prepayments and month end journals.
• Own the Accounts Payable inbox.
• Handle supplier queries and responses.
• Maintain AP tracker and raise Purchase Orders.
• Produce monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support transitions to new systems and tools.
• Assist with raising sales invoices.
• Maintain customer contracts in the Finance system.
• Support bank reconciliations and postings.
• Assist with AR aged debt collection.
• Assist with cashflow reporting.
• Support VAT return preparation.
