Job summary

Stridden Limited are recruiting an experienced Telescopic Forklift Operator to join their project in Benson, Oxfordshire. The role involves moving, unloading and distributing materials on a busy construction site.

You must hold a valid CPCS/NPORS Telescopic Forklift card, have proven on-site experience and be able to commute to Benson. Duration is 3 weeks, with hours 7:30am–4:00pm and 10 hours paid per day. A reliable, safety-conscious approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telescopic Forklift card.
• Proven experience operating a Telescopic Forklift on site.
• Experience on groundworks/construction projects.
• Full PPE and reliable commute to Benson.
• Recent references and willingness to commit to ongoing work.

Responsibilities

• Operate Telescopic Forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load/unload deliveries and materials.
• Position materials for trades across the site.
• Move materials around the project.
• Maintain clean stock/materials area.
• Perform daily equipment checks.
• Follow RAMS and Health & Safety procedures.
• Assist with general site duties as required.

Telescopic Forklift in Benson

Stridden Limited are recruiting on behalf of an established Groundworks Contractor who are currently looking for an experienced Telescopic Forklift Operator to join their site in Benson, Oxfordshire.

Location: Benson, Oxfordshire

Rate: £22.00 per hour

Duration: 3 weeks

Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm

Hours Paid per Day: 10 hours

Job Description

This is an ongoing opportunity for an experienced Telescopic Forklift Operator to work with an established Groundworks Contractor on their project in Benson.

The successful candidate must be confident operating a Telescopic Forklift on a busy construction site, assisting with the movement, unloading and distribution of materials as required.

Key Duties

• Operating a Telescopic Forklift safely and efficiently


• Loading and unloading deliveries and materials


• Loading out materials for trades across the site


• Moving and positioning materials around the project


• Maintaining a clean and tidy stock/materials area


• Carrying out daily checks on the machine


• Working safely around other plant, operatives and trades


• Following site RAMS and Health & Safety procedures


• Assisting with general site duties where required

Requirements

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telescopic Forklift - Blue/Competent Operator Card


• Strong previous experience operating a Telescopic Forklift


• Previous experience working on groundworks/construction projects


• Full PPE


• Ability to commute reliably to Benson


• Recent relevant references


• Ability to commit to ongoing work
