A staffing agency is seeking a Telesales Agent for a temporary 2-month contract in Chippenham. You will handle service inquiries, assist in order preparation, and make sales calls. Job details

• Job Title: Telesales
• Location: Chippenham
• Job Type: Temporary Contract – September to October, Full time
• Pay: £12.21 per hour (paid monthly)
• Expected hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the supervisor, deal with new and regular customers on the phone, and handle service enquiries
• Assist in the warehouse to prepare customer orders for delivery by our drivers
• Handle both incoming and outgoing sales calls and respond to customer queries and complaints in a friendly and professional manner
• Match products and services to a customer’s needs, providing an effective and efficient service
• Work as part of the branch team to deliver excellent customer care and online assistance for customers

Requirements

• Be proactive and enthusiastic with a passion for sales and delivering high-quality customer service
• A clear telephone voice and good telephone manner are essential
• Many customers are older people; excellent communication and strong customer service skills are required
• Attention to detail, patience, accuracy, ability to meet sales goals, and data entry skills
• IT literate with Microsoft Word & Excel skills (not essential)
• Working knowledge of SAP system would be an added advantage
