Job Title: Telephone CollectorSalary Range: £22,500 to £25,000 + BonusesLocation: Sheffield Contract: Full Time, Permanent Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities:

• You will be making and receiving telephone calls from businesses and individuals to recover outstanding debts
• Handling difficult conversations in a sensitive and professional manner with customers over the telephone
• Entering accurate records of conversations and payment agreements into a customer database
• Following processes and guidelines regarding debt collectionWorking in an open plan, contact centre environment - achieving personal and team targets
• Accurately entering customer payment details into our systems - ensuring these are entered correctly first time around

About the Business:

• CRA Consulting are delighted to be working with a firm who due to their ambitious growth plans, are looking to strengthen our team based from offices just outside of Sheffield City Centre. They are part of a group employing over 500 people, in debt recovery, throughout the UK.
• They work with some of the largest retail, banking and commercial businesses around the UK to help recover overdue debts and arrange payment solutions, helping people clear their debts.
• Working shifts between 8am to 8pm - Monday to Friday, your primary role will be making and receiving telephone calls with customers to arrange payment of outstanding debts.

Application Criteria:

• You will hold a minimum of 6-12 months experience in a telephony based role
• You will require experience and exposure to telephone collections / debt recovery and/or credit control
