We have an exciting opportunity for Telemedicine Optometrists to join our expanding team at Primary Eyecare Services!
Primary Eyecare Services (PES) is an established provider of high-quality extended eye care services, utilizing a large network of optical practice subcontractors across England (~2000). PES manages contracts on behalf of the primary eye care network, spanning ~70 NHS commissioners and delivering over 380,000 episodes of patient care annually, with a total turnover of approximately £25+ million. PES is a not-for-profit company, limited by guarantee, with most income reinvested into frontline eye care services in optical practices.
We are seeking highly skilled, experienced, and clinically focused optometrists to join our central telemedicine clinical team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced healthcare environment requiring strong clinical expertise, sound decision-making, and exceptional patient care.
The telemedicine optometrist will be responsible for delivering high-quality care, assessing and managing a wide range of ocular conditions. Maintaining clinical excellence, adhering to best practices, and collaborating to improve patient outcomes are essential.

The FTE salary starts from £55,350. As this is a part-time role, the salary will be pro-rated. The role is predominantly home-based, with occasional attendance at the PES Head Office in Manchester, M4 6LN, including two full days for induction.
