Job summary

NHS 24 is seeking an experienced, NMC registered adult nurse to join as a Clinical Supervisor, delivering high-quality clinical supervision within our telehealth service and supporting colleagues to ensure safe, person-centered care for patients.

This permanent Band 6 role offers a comprehensive salary package with enhanced pay for out-of-hours shifts, and development opportunities across our regional centres including Clydebank, Cardonald, Aberdeen and Dundee.

Qualifications

• Must be registered as an Adult nurse on Part 1 of the NMC register.
• Excellent clinical decision-making skills.
• Extensive post registration experience in acute or primary care settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality telephone triage using clinical expertise to ensure safe, person-centred care.
• Work as an autonomous practitioner applying professional judgement for comprehensive clinical triage.
• Ensure patients and families receive timely, safe and person-centred care with clear clinical reasoning.
• Provide real-time clinical support to peers and non-clinical staff to aid safe decision-making.
• Direct patients to the most appropriate service or care setting, considering individual needs.
