Search Consultancy is recruiting a skilled Telehandler Operator for an active construction site in Newcastle upon Tyne. The role offers a top-tier rate of £21.00 per hour (CIS) with ongoing full-time hours and strong site stability under a leading contractor.

To qualify, you must hold a valid CPCS or NPORS ticket and have proven telehandler experience on busy commercial or residential builds. Weekly pay is guaranteed and dependable transport to the site is expected.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS (Blue or Red) or NPORS Card.
• Experience operating telehandlers on busy construction sites.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• PPE: hard hat, high-vis jacket, safety boots, gloves, protective eyewear.
• Reliable transport to Newcastle site.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Unload and distribute bricks, blocks, timber and materials around site.
• Offload scaffold lifts and loading bays safely.
• Conduct daily pre-start checks and log maintenance.
• Operate the telehandler within site safety rules and speed limits.
• Support site management during quieter periods.
