Job summary

Sir Robert McAlpine Ltd is seeking a Telehandler driver to operate specialist lifting equipment on a site-based project at Sellafield. You will transport materials across the site and off-load/load wagons, ensuring loads are stable and secure before movement.

Required CSCS and CPCS, NPORS with CSCS, and IOSH Working Safely, plus manual handling training. A strong team player with a positive attitude is essential for contributing to a safe, productive project culture.

Qualifications

• CSCS and CPCS cards are essential for operation on site.
• NPORS with CSCS logo is required for certain site accesses.
• IOSH Working Safely demonstrates health and safety awareness on site.
• Manual Handling Training is expected for material handling tasks.
• A positive attitude and strong teamwork are important in this role.

Job description

The Telehandler driver is responsible for operating the specialist lifting machinery effectively and safely. This includes transporting site materials across the construction site and off‑loading/loading wagons. Ensuring stability and security of loads before transporting. Is fully committed to and actively promotes all aspects of Build Sure and SRM values, culture and behaviours throughout the project. Including but not limited

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Experience of working in a nuclear environment
