Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group on site in Poole is seeking an experienced Telehandler to manage material movement, load and unload goods, and assist with on-site logistics.

You should hold CPCS or NPORS/CSCS, have a strong work ethic, be safety-conscious and punctual, and be able to act as a point of contact when working in a standalone role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Telehandler on civil/site operations.
• Holds CPCS or NPORS/CSCS certification.
• Demonstrates strong work ethic in a team environment.
• Able to work independently as a point of contact when required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks.
• Move goods on pallets or in crates.
• Check loads are secure.
• Stack empty pallets.
• Perform daily equipment checks (battery charging, lubrication).
• Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines.

The company:

A well established regional contractor who specialises in Civil Engineering and Infrastructure.

The role:

As the Telehandler on site, you will be responsible for the following:

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines

About you:

Ideally you will have previous working experience in a Telehandler position

You will be conscious of health and safety on site and will be weary of others who are working alongside of you.

You will arrive on time, finish your shift at the times allocated by the site manager and complete additional duties as and when the site manager requires.
