Job summary

Fawkes & Reece (North) is seeking an experienced Telehandler Driver to join a busy new-build housing development in Bradford on a long-term basis.

You will operate a telehandler safely, move materials, load and unload deliveries, and support trades while maintaining daily checks and a safe site environment. CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket and prior construction-site experience are required.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket.
• Previous telehandler experience on construction or housing sites.
• Good understanding of site health & safety requirements.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work effectively as part of a site team.

Responsibilities

• Operate telehandler safely and efficiently around a busy housing development.

The Role

• Operating a telehandler safely and efficiently around a busy housing development.
• Moving and positioning materials around the site.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Assisting trades and site management with material movements.
• Carrying out daily machine checks and reporting any defects.
• Maintaining a safe working environment and following site procedures.
• Supporting the wider site team as required.

Requirements

• ValidCPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket.
• Previous experience operating a telehandler on construction or housing sites.
• Good understanding of site health & safety requirements.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work effectively as part of a site team.
