Job summary

Hays Recruitment is seeking an experienced Telehandler Driver to work on a busy construction project in Wirral. You will be responsible for operating the telehandler, loading and unloading materials, and assisting with site logistics on a fast-paced site.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler licence, have prior telehandler experience on construction sites, and a solid understanding of health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler licence required.
• Experience operating a telehandler on construction sites.
• Good understanding of site health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Full PPE required on site.

Responsibilities

• Operate the telehandler safely and efficiently around site.
• Load, unload and move construction materials.
• Deliver materials to trades and work areas as required.
• Assist with site logistics and material distribution.
• Carry out daily machine checks and report defects.
• Support site managers and trades teams as required.

Your new role

As a Telehandler Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Operating the telehandler safely and efficiently around site

• Delivering materials to trades and work areas as required
• Assisting with site logistics and material distribution
• Carrying out daily machine checks and reporting any defects
• Supporting site managers and trades teams when required
• Ensuring all health and safety standards are adhered to at all times
• Keeping work areas clean, safe and organised

What you'll need to succeed

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler licence
• Previous experience operating a telehandler on construction sites
