Job summary

Ofcom in Manchester, within the Infrastructure and Connectivity Group, seeks a Senior Associate to lead regulatory supervision over telecoms security and resilience, including TSA implementation and policy guidance. You will collaborate with enforcement, policy teams, and industry stakeholders to ensure robust network protection and compliance.

The role requires UK Cyber Security Council accreditation or willingness to obtain it, and maintenance of security clearance.

Qualifications

• UK Cyber Security Council accreditation required or obtainable in role.
• Must maintain UK security clearance or be willing to undergo vetting; mandatory for role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a supervisory program for TSA compliance.
• Maintain a regime to provide annual reports to the SOS for DSIT.
• Engage with telecoms providers to assess TSA implementation and obligations.
• Provide technical support to enforcement activities and regulatory colleagues.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align policy goals and regulatory actions.
• Support other Ofcom teams in security and resilience supervision, including NIS and Data Centres.
