Job summary

Pro Search UK is seeking a Telecoms Civil Engineer / Civil Operative / Civil ganger for immediate start. The role involves performing civils duties such as reinstatement, excavation, paving, and cable installation on Virgin Media underground networks, with a focus on health and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate will have telecoms civils experience, be physically fit, and possess an NRSWA streetworks certificate as well as a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Telecoms civils experience required.
• Candidate must be physically fit.
• One engineer in a two-man team must hold an NRSWA streetworks certificate.
• One engineer in a two-man team must have a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Move materials and tools, set up signs and safety barriers.
• Reinstatement, excavation, backfill, tarmac, kerbs, slabs.
• Paving and garden works.
• Execute and oversee rodding, roping, duct/subduct installations and cable pulling for Virgin Media networks.
