Job summary

Gee Communications Ltd in Cardiff is seeking a Telecommunications Installation Engineer to join our expanding M&E and Telecommunications division. You will install and commission equipment, including CCTV, CIS, PA, fiber, and structured cabling, and support maintenance. Candidates should have rail or commercial site experience, a full UK driving license, and willingness to join a 24/7 on-call rota. Certifications such as ECS/PTS/IPAF/PASMA are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a rail or commercial environment.
• Full UK driving license.
• Desirable certifications: ECS Card (Network Infrastructure Installer), PTS, IPAF, PASMA.

Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of telecommunications equipment including CCTV, CIS, PA, fiber and structured cabling.
• Installation of cable management systems.
• Maintenance of telecommunications systems.
• Completion of test and commissioning documentation.
• Participate in 24-hours on-call rota.
