Job summary

Gee Communications Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic Approved Electrician to join our Cardiff electrical installation team. The role focuses on installing cabling, cable management systems, power distribution equipment, and performing testing and commissioning.

Candidates should have an ECS Card, 18th Edition, and testing/inspection experience. PTS, IPAF, and PASMA are desirable. A full UK driving license is required, and a vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• ECS Card (Approved Electrician) required.
• 18th Edition wiring regulations required.
• Testing and inspection competencies required.
• PTS and IPAF/PASMA are desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical cabling including singles and SWAs.
• Install cable management systems (metal trunking, tray, conduits).
• Install power distribution equipment.
• Test and commission electrical systems.

Gee Communications are looking to expand our fast-growing M&E division, we are now seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, and dynamic Approved Electrician, to work as part of our longstanding electrical installation teams.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Installation of electrical cabling, to include singles and SWA’s.
• Installation of cable management systems to include metal trunking, metal tray and metal conduits.
• Installation of power distribution equipment.
• Testing and commissioning of electrical systems.

About you:

• Experience of working in a rail or commercial environment.
• ECS Card (Approved Electrician).
• 18th Edition
• Testing and Inspection
• PTS (desirable but not essential).
• IPAF and PASMA (desirable but not essential).
• Drive and enthusiasm to learn on the job and participate in delivering projects efficiently.
• Full UK driving license (Vehicle provided).
