Unified Communications (UC) Engineer

Location: Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, UK (Onsite)

A successful IT and Telecoms Service Provider in Hertfordshire is seeking a UC Engineer to support telecom services for high-profile clients. The company partners with leading vendors and offers services across Telecoms (VoIP, Broadband, Ethernet, Mobile), IT, Cloud, Security, and Digital Transformation. They are one of the UK's top-rated MSPs with an expanding client base.

Your role involves provisioning and supporting telecom services, resolving tickets, assisting with onboarding, and providing remote user support.

Key Duties:

• Monitor and troubleshoot telecom issues to minimize downtime
• Support end-users within service level agreements
• Manage add, move, and change requests on VoIP systems
• Troubleshoot broadband and Ethernet connectivity
• Support mobile users with tariff changes and SIM swaps

Key Experience:

• Proven experience supporting telecom services including VoIP, broadband, and mobile (Gamma Horizon, BT One Phone, Vodafone, O2)
• Experience configuring broadband routers (Technicolor, Draytek)
• Strong knowledge of telecom infrastructure and equipment
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently in a mature environment
• Opportunities for progression into IT Support teams
