PA Consulting is seeking a Telecom & Patent Consultant to join the Networks capability, bringing robust telecom expertise and patent analytics to client engagements. You will evaluate patents, prepare transparency reports, and perform landscape analyses to inform risk and opportunity forTechnology commercialization.

You will collaborate with senior consultants across sectors, with hybrid work requiring 2 days in the office or on client sites, and potential for more time at client locations

Qualifications

• Familiarity with telecom technologies, including 3GPP Technical Specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, synthesize, and visualize large data and present data-driven insights.
• Familiarity with Python and its use for data analysis.
• Experience with or willingness to learn and excel in patent analysis and essentiality checks.
• Customer focus with a professional and confident communication style.
• Strong interest in how technology is commercialised and the innovation process.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate patents and their applicability to telecom standards.
• Assist in the scoping and preparation of patent transparency reports in various areas of telecommunications.
• Conduct patent landscape analyses and inform on potential risks and opportunities.
• Review intellectual property portfolios and identify portfolio commercialisation and optimization opportunities.
• Capture and record strategic intellectual property assets and devise asset-specific valuation and protection strategies.
• Provide technical litigation support in conjunction with external legal specialists.
