PA Consulting is seeking an exceptional Telecom & Patent Engineer to join its Networks capability. You will apply robust technical knowledge and analysis to evaluate patents, analyze landscapes, and support IP strategies across telecom standards.

The role blends engineering rigor with commercial insight in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team. The position offers hybrid working patterns, with in-office or client-site time blended to fit assignments, and may require UK residency and security

Formación

• Familiarity with telecom technologies, including 3GPP Technical Specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to visualize large, diverse data sets and present data-driven insights.
• Familiarity with Python and its use for data analysis.
• Experience with or willingness to learn and excel in patent analysis and essentiality checks.
• Customer focus with professional communication style.
• Interest in how technology is commercialised and the innovation process.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patents and their applicability to telecom standards.
• Assist in scoping and preparation of patent transparency reports in telecommunications.
• Conduct patent landscape analyses and identify risks and opportunities.
• Review IP portfolios and identify portfolio commercialisation and optimization opportunities.
• Capture and record strategic IP assets and devise valuation and protection strategies.
• Provide technical litigation support with external legal specialists.
