Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd in Leeds is seeking an experienced Structural Detailer with Tekla expertise to join a site-based permanent role. You will turn architectural and structural information into precise 3D Tekla models and fabrication drawings for specialist steelwork projects.

You’ll work across stairs, balustrades and architectural metalwork, liaising with clients and internal teams to resolve queries, manage revisions and ensure drawings reflect project requirements from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Experience as Structural/Steel Detailer or CAD Technician.
• Strong Tekla Structures experience.
• Ability to produce 3D models and fabrication drawings.
• Interpret architectural and structural drawings clearly.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication with clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate 3D Tekla models.
• Create detailed fabrication and construction drawings.
• Detail steel staircases, balustrades, architectural metalwork and structural steel.
• Interpret architectural and structural drawings and specs.
• Develop practical detailing solutions for fabrication and installation.
• Liaise with clients to clarify requirements and resolve queries.
• Manage drawing revisions and project information.
• Ensure all information is up to date and issued correctly.
