Job summary

Jark Plc in the Ecclesfield area of Sheffield is seeking an experienced Tekla Detailer to join our team on major structural steel projects across the UK. You will turn engineering information into fabrication-ready detail and produce GA, assembly and erection drawings, while coordinating with engineers, project managers and fabrication teams.

The right candidate has proven Tekla detailing experience, a solid understanding of steel fabrication, and a track record of delivering accurate drawings

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Tekla Detailer / Structural Steel Detailer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Tekla Structures.
• Experience producing fabrication, assembly and erection drawings.
• A good understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection.
• Ability to read and interpret structural engineering drawings.
• Experience working to project deadlines and managing your own workload.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop 3D structural steel models in Tekla Structures, turning engineering information into fabrication-ready detail.
• Produce accurate GA, assembly, single-part and erection drawings.
• Interpret structural drawings and resolve detailing issues before fabrication.
• Work closely with engineers, project managers and fabrication teams to keep projects moving.
• Incorporate design changes and revisions while maintaining model and drawing accuracy.
• Produce the fabrication information needed to get steel manufactured and installed on site.
