Roundhouse Recruitment Ltd seeks a Tekla Detailer (Structural Steel) to join a growing construction manufacturer in Cookstown, County Tyrone. You will produce detailed fabrication and GA drawings using Tekla Structures, interpreting engineering drawings and specifications for bespoke masonry support systems.

The role offers a clear progression path, specialist technical training, and a generous benefits package including 32 days holiday and a 37-hour week.

Qualifications

• Previous experience using Tekla Structures for structural steel or construction detailing.
• Ability to read and interpret structural engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Understanding of construction detailing, fabrication or structural steelwork.
• Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple drawing packages.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or other CAD software would be advantageous.
• Keen to develop technically and progress within a growing engineering and construction business.

Responsabilités

• Produce detailed fabrication drawings and GA drawings using Tekla Structures.
• Interpret structural engineering drawings, technical specifications and construction design information.
• Prepare accurate technical details for bespoke masonry support systems and associated construction products.
• Liaise with structural engineers, project managers and customers to resolve technical queries.
• Review drawings and identify discrepancies or potential installation issues before manufacture.
• Update and revise technical drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate drawing records, document control and revision information.
• Work collaboratively with the wider technical team to ensure drawings meet project requirements and deadlines.
