Locations: London, Manchester, or Birmingham
Work Mode: Hybrid (2 days a week in the office or client site)
Salary: Up to £80k (including car allowance) + up to 15% bonus
The Opportunity:
Lorien’s client, a top international consultancy firm, is currently hiring multiple Technology Transformation Managers to join their Infrastructure, Government, and Health practice.
This role involves bringing a technology perspective to a broad range of client issues, demonstrating how technology can address problems and realize opportunities. It focuses on strategy rather than technical details, requiring an understanding of the bigger picture.
The Role:
- Manage the development and delivery of IT operating models to optimize clients' technology organizations.
- Develop digital and technology strategies with client teams.
- Provide credible advice on effective IT operation.
- Collaborate across Connected Technology capabilities to improve and transform IT services.
- Support clients through digital transformation initiatives.
- Identify emerging market trends and develop leveraging products and services.
- Support growth of the Tech Strategy & Transformation capability by developing and supporting team members.
- Contribute to thought leadership on digital transformation, technology strategy, and operating models.
- Champion how Tech Strategy & Transformation can help clients achieve digital and technological goals.
- Lead engagement teams to deliver high-quality outcomes and identify further opportunities.
- Participate in line management and business development activities, including report and white paper writing.
Responsibilities:
- Build lasting client relationships and networks to address senior needs.
- Provide well-thought-out solutions to moderately complex problems.
- Experience with local or central government (via consultancy or direct employment).
- Lead workshops on strategy, operating models, etc.
- Assess technologies and benchmarking.
- Digital experience in areas such as:
- Developing technology strategies in complex environments
- IT operating model design and implementation
- IT cost optimization and efficiency
- Large-scale digital transformation including business models and culture change
- Agile methodologies at scale
- Be tenacious, passionate, adaptable in communication styles from C-level to junior staff.
- Self-sufficient, with leadership experience managing teams and projects.
- Consulting experience with large organizations.
- Passion for emerging technology and business value creation in digital areas.
