Role Overview

Digital Service Support (DSS) within Technical Operations and Cyber Security (TOCS) supports the bank’s digital banking services, including retail and business banking, public websites, and credit cards. The ideal candidate will have a technical background (Windows Server & RHEL) and proven leadership experience in managing engineering teams.

Responsibilities

1. Lead, manage, and develop a team, providing direction on all activities impacting your area of responsibility.
2. Own strategic and tactical changes, such as migrating services from IBM Cloud to on-premise/Azure and transitioning off legacy systems.
3. Investigate defects, incidents, and problems across environments, ensuring validation and resolution within your technical expertise.
4. Ensure platforms meet current and future service availability requirements.
5. Maintain operational effectiveness of relevant platforms, adhering to industry best practices and standards.
6. Oversee maintenance, patching, hardware & software upgrades, aligned with security standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience leading an IT team.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder relationship-building at all levels.
• Subject matter expertise in UNIX, ADC (F5), IBM Cloud, Azure.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace.
• Proactive learning mindset and ability to work under challenging deadlines.
• Excellent collaborative and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in the Financial Services industry.
• Willingness to join a 24/7 on-call rota.
