Job summary

Capital One (Europe) plc in Nottingham invites applications for a 10-week Technology Summer Internship. You’ll work in software engineering, use modern tools, and join real projects with a dedicated mentor. The role offers a pro rata salary of £46,500 plus a £1,000 joining bonus and a hybrid work pattern.

We don’t mind what degree or grades you have, but we want to see:

• You have a good foundation of coding skills (in any language).
• You have the flexibility and aptitude for problem solving and the learning it takes to master lots of different tools and technologies.
• How you communicate and collaborate with others.
• Your enthusiasm for tech and Capital One.

Where and how you'll work

This is a 10-week fixed-term position based in our Nottingham office.

We embrace a hybrid approach to work. You'll spend three days a week in the office (Tuesday-Thursday), with Monday and Friday being optional work-from-home days.

Our offices are designed to inspire and support you. At our Nottingham head office, you'll find an on-site gym, restaurant and dedicated Learning Loft. Our London office boasts a rooftop running track and coffee bar.
