Job summary

Baird is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join its Technology & Services team in the United Kingdom. You will support live M&A, capital raising and strategic advisory engagements, taking ownership of critical execution workstreams.

You will develop and review complex financial models, deliver clear client recommendations and craft high-quality presentations and materials for senior clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a numerate, business or related discipline.
• Typically 3–5 years of investment banking experience with sell-side M&A execution exposure.
• Ability to utilise AI as a productivity and analytical tool while exercising judgement on human insight.
• Strong knowledge of Technology & Services sector preferred.
• Experience managing significant transaction workstreams with high-quality analysis under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of key workstreams across live M&A, capital raising and strategic advisory engagements.
• Lead analysis of financial statements, operating data and performance metrics.
• Build and review sophisticated financial models including valuation, merger consequences and LBOs.
• Prepare client presentations, marketing materials and transaction documentation.
• Coordinate with senior bankers, clients and advisers to maintain momentum on transactions.
• Guide Analysts and coach junior team members to high standards.
