Job summary

Baird is seeking an Investment Banking Associate for its Technology & Services team in London. You will join a collaborative group focused on sell-side M&A, capital raises and strategic advisory, taking ownership of execution workstreams and supporting senior bankers.

You will lead financial analyses, build complex models and contribute to client materials, while mentoring junior team members and driving high-quality outcomes for middle-market clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a numerate, business or related discipline.
• Typically 3–5 years of relevant investment banking experience, with sell-side M&A execution exposure.
• Ability to leverage AI as a productivity and analytical tool while applying human judgement.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of key workstreams across live M&A, capital raising and strategic advisory engagements.
• Lead the analysis of financial statements, operating data and performance metrics.
• Build and review sophisticated financial models including valuation, merger consequences and LBOs.
• Prepare client presentations, marketing materials and transaction documentation.
• Coordinate with senior bankers, clients and advisers to maintain deal momentum.
