Job summary

RSM UK is seeking a Technology Risk Assurance Consultant to join our London office. You will work with multiple teams to deliver IT risk and cyber security engagements, advising clients on controls and governance, and supporting delivery from planning through to reporting.

The role requires CISA or equivalent knowledge, strong communication, client-facing professionalism, and willingness to travel to client sites. We offer a flexible reward package and career development opportunities.

As a Technology Risk Assurance Consultant working from our London office, you will work collaboratively with other teams across RSM to best serve our clients, guided by good practice principles, and the latest technologies. You’ll work on engagements ranging from digital strategy and project management to cyber risk and cloud security to data protection and information governance.

You will make an impact by:

• Contributing to the delivery of the assignment (this could be Internal Audit support for corporate, financial services or not for profit clients, internal controls, or Cyber Security Advisory)
• Working collaboratively with the rest of our team, to focus on advising our clients on how to address their technology risk challenges, using your expertise and experience to identify where improvements to controls can be made and suggesting innovative and value-added solutions
• Managing your assigned workload to ensure that your work is completed to time and to budget and in line with our premium quality requirements
• Supporting Senior and Principal Consultants to deliver more complex assignments

• CISA qualified, with a strong understanding of IT and cyber security risks, controls and good practice; audit experience (IT, internal or external audit) is advantageous
• Proven ability to produce high-quality documentation and reports, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence in client-facing environments
• Committed to delivering a premium client service, demonstrating professionalism, enthusiasm and a proactive approach to learning and development
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and see tasks through to completion in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel to client sites and RSM offices as required, in line with business and office attendance requirements
