Job summary

RSM UK is seeking an enthusiastic Cyber Security Consultant to join our consulting team. You will deliver offensive security services including footprint recon, social engineering, penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for high-profile clients across industries.

You will work with a team of specialists, receive coaching and mentoring, and have opportunities to develop market-leading skills across capabilities while advancing your professional development.

Qualifications

• Industry certifications in offensive security (e.g., PenTest+, CREST, OSCP).
• Experience in offensive security and penetration testing.
• Infrastructure and web app testing experience; API testing desirable.
• Familiar with current cyber threats and technology trends.

Responsibilities

• Support technical scoping activities for client assignments.
• Deliver fieldwork and compile assignment reports.
• Prioritize and manage tasks through to completion.
• Stay current with latest cyber-attacks and trends.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Cyber Security Consultant to join our team. Working alongside our experienced team of specialists, you’ll be delivering offensive security services including digital footprint reconnaissance, social engineering, penetration testing and vulnerability assessments and more to high profile clients across all industries.

The purpose of this role is to deliver our offensive security services including digital footprint reconnaissance, social engineering, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, threat modelling, cyber-attack simulation exercises, and more to high profile clients across all industries.

You will make an impact by

• Supporting technical scoping activities as part of client assignments.
• Responsible for delivering fieldwork and assignment reporting.

We value diverse experiences and perspectives. Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:

• Hold an industry recognised certification including CompTIA PenTest+; CHECK, CREST; Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) etc.
• Experience of offensive security and penetration testing
• Demonstrable experience in infrastructure and web application testing, experience in API testing is desirable.
• Demonstrable experience using common pen testing tools including Kali Linux, Burpsuite, Nessus and other industry standard tools.
• Relevant experience within a cyber security role.
• Familiar with technology trends, and cyber threats.
