Job summary

Strativ Group in London is expanding its FinTech desk and seeking driven recruiters to engage the US market from day one. You’ll place top talent into fast-growing VC-backed startups on retained or exclusive assignments, while building a recognised niche across GTM, Tech and Finance.

You can expect substantial earning potential with fees and salaries highlighted, including opportunities to bill £350k+ in a year and salaries £150k+ with progressive commission structures.

Our FinTech team currently a team of 7 is growing, if you’re looking to take your recruitment career to the next level, step into a hot desk covering the US market with huge growth potential, whilst also having the opportunity to build something of your own, then how does this sound…

• Walk into live roles from day one, either exclusive or retained
• Fees upwards of £30k+, salaries £150k+ with all work being agreed at 25%-30%
• A genuine opportunity to bill £300k+ in your first year, with a clear path towards team leadership

They are building teams for some of the fastest growing Pre Seed - Series C start ups across the US including all things tech, GTM and finance.

This hire is being made off the back of the team's success over the last 12 months, the strong pipeline of live opportunities and the huge amount of market still left to cover.

The Role

What you’ll be doing:

• Working across the US FinTech market, with roles to get stuck into from day 1.
• Building your reputation as a specialist across areas including GTM, Tech, Finance, placing high-calibre talent into some of the fastest growing VC backed startups/scale ups on a retained or exclusive basis.
• Building your personal brand and network within the market, with success driven by relationships, industry knowledge and being visible within the sector rather than relying solely on traditional cold calling.

The Requirements

• A proven track record in 360 recruitment, from winning new clients to delivering on roles that you’ve personally brought into the business.
• You'll bring experience recruiting AE's - VP/SVP sales leadership roles, Finance roles ideally CFO/Director level roles or Software Engineers both IC/Leadership.
• Ideally experience partnering with early stage VC/PE backed start ups/scale ups, particularly Pre-Seed through to series C
• Someone who is naturally relationship-driven, enjoys networking and wants to become a genuine specialist within their market.
• A self-starter who wants the freedom and responsibility to build their own space, while being happy working within an established team and get involved in our culture!

This is a rare opportunity to join a desk that is already hot, rather than being asked to build from scratch. With bigger fees comes bigger billing potential and a genuine opportunity to bill £350k+ in your first year by only needing to make 10 placements.

We know the opportunity is there because we’ve already seen it happen. One of the consultants in the team has billed over £500k transitioning from a completely different market in recruitment.

One of our trainees joined us and billed just over £80k in the last 2 months.
