Peel Ports Group is seeking a Technology Project Manager to lead delivery of complex technology initiatives that support strategic objectives and business outcomes. We are looking for a Technology Project Manager to join our Programme Delivery Team, leading the delivery of technology initiatives that support innovation, improve performance and help shape the future of Peel Ports Group.
As a Technology Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of technology projects that support Peel Ports Group's strategic objectives. Working with technology teams, stakeholders, suppliers and product owners, you will manage projects throughout their full lifecycle, ensuring delivery to agreed scope, quality, timescales and budgets. You will oversee project planning, governance, risk and financial management, stakeholder engagement and change adoption, while driving continuous improvement, business benefits realisation, and high standards of safety, quality, and inclusion.
You’ll have a proven track record in delivering technology projects, including infrastructure, system implementations and business change initiatives. With strong project management expertise, you’ll be experienced in working across complex IT environments, managing suppliers and stakeholders, and coordinating delivery through matrix teams. Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. A PRINCE2 qualification (or equivalent experience) is desirable, while experience with Operational Technologies or Industrial Control Systems would be advantageous. A full UK driving licence is required, with occasional travel to other Peel Ports locations across the UK (approximately 10% of the time).
