Job summary

Asda is recruiting a Lead Procurement Category Manager, Technology to steer end-to-end sourcing and define the technology category strategy. You will partner with Asda Technology and the CIO to drive cost transformation and value across the spend portfolio.

Based at Asda House, Leeds, this permanent, full-time role offers hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days in a Home Office and a comprehensive benefits package. You will influence senior stakeholders and lead major technology investments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Technology Procurement/Category Management across software, SaaS, Professional Services and Managed Services.
• Experience with software, SaaS, and managed services.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders within a large organisation.
• Experience crafting and managing complex contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end sourcing activities and develop technology category strategies.
• Influence and collaborate with stakeholders to support transformation initiatives and maintain a competitive cost base.
• Lead on major business investments and executive priorities within the function.
• Contribute to our cost and cash programme, leveraging data and analytics in the Centre of Excellence.
• Drive the procurement transformation, setting new standards and defining the procurement technology roadmap.
