Job summary

Aegon UK Corporate Services Ltd in Witham or Peterborough is seeking a Technology Partner Manager to join our Technology Partner Management Team on a permanent basis.

You will optimise value through strategic roadmaps, supplier governance, and strong stakeholder management across IT suppliers, with a hybrid model requiring in-office presence 40% of the time.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing supplier relationships in Financial Services or regulated environments.
  • Strong commercial and financial management skills, including budgeting and contract performance.
  • Proven ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Manage strategic relationships with IT suppliers to maximise value and service outcomes.
  • Monitor supplier performance against KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop supplier management plans and identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Oversee supplier-related budgets and forecasting, cost optimisation.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders to enable collaboration and resolve conflicts.
  • Lead supplier governance activities, including reviews and reporting.
  • Partner with Procurement on contract renewals, evaluations and negotiations.
  • Ensure supplier agreements align with objectives while managing risk.
  • Support onboarding, enhancements and retirements of services with IT Delivery teams.
  • Manage contractual changes and supplier disputes with balanced solutions.
  • Develop contingency plans and identify emerging risks to strengthen resilience.
  • Support regulatory reviews and maintain compliant records.

We are currently recruiting for an Technology Partner Manager to join our Technology Partner Management Team, who will optimise value through strategic roadmap, innovation and other value creation initiatives, using excellent stakeholder management skills and awareness of the supplier marketplace, identifying areas for collaboration and growth.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Manage strategic relationships with IT suppliers to maximise value, performance, and service outcomes.
  • Monitor supplier performance against agreed contractual obligations, KPIs, and service metrics, driving continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Develop and maintain supplier management plans, using market insight to identify opportunities for innovation, collaboration, and growth.
  • Oversee supplier-related budgets and spend, ensuring effective forecasting, cost optimisation, and alignment to business requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and resolving conflicts to achieve positive business outcomes.
  • Lead supplier governance activities, including performance reviews, governance forums, reporting, due diligence, and oversight activities.
  • Partner with Procurement to support contract renewals, supplier evaluations, tender activities, and commercial negotiations.
  • Ensure IT supplier agreements remain aligned to organisational objectives while effectively managing commercial, operational, and regulatory risk.
  • Support the onboarding, enhancement, and retirement of services in partnership with Change Management and IT Delivery teams.
  • Manage contractual changes and supplier disputes, recommending balanced solutions that meet business, operational, and commercial objectives.
  • Develop contingency plans and proactively identify emerging risks to strengthen operational resilience.
  • Support regulatory reviews, audit activity, and compliance requirements, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements, including FCA, PRA, TPR, and EBA expectations.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
  • Experience managing strategi supplier relationships within Financial Services or other regulated environments.
  • Strong commercial and financial management skills, including supplier performance, contract management and budgeting.
  • Proven ability to build and influence relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience leading supplier governance, performance reviews and service discussions.
  • Knowledge of supplier lifecycle management, including due diligence, contract renewals and service transitions.
What’s in it for you?

We’re serious about your future and our enhanced pension scheme is now in place. We ask you to contribute 3% of your salary to your pension and we’ll put in 9%. If you decide to contribute more, we’ll match it up to a combined total of 20% of your salary (that’s 7% from you and 13% from us).
