Job summary

JMC Legal Recruitment is assisting a Top 20 International Law Firm in Aberdeen to recruit a Technology & Media Associate (1-4 PQE). You will be embedded in a Tier 1 ranked team handling high-quality technology and commercial contracts work.

The role offers exposure to cutting-edge areas such as AI, fintech and data protection, with a strong Scottish team culture and international platform. You will build client relationships and take on responsibilities from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial contracts, technology, IT, IP or data protection.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Commercially minded with ability to translate legal issues into practical advice.
• Confident in client-facing discussions and relationship-building.
• Willing to contribute to business development and team initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft technology contracts, software and SaaS agreements.
• Advise on IP and data protection matters.
• Support procurement, outsourcing and commercial arrangements.
• Develop and maintain client relationships; contribute to BD efforts.
