Job summary

AXA UK is seeking a Technology Delivery Lead to direct delivery across multiple teams in a regulated, product-led technology organisation. You will align product, engineering, architecture, security, testing and release around clear outcomes, driving AI and automation initiatives and responsible tech debt management.

You’ll navigate ambiguity, shape delivery approaches, and engage senior stakeholders to turn strategic intent into high-quality execution within a mature SDLC.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise technology delivery in complex organisations.
• Strong stakeholder management across product, engineering, operations and leadership.
• Familiar with AI tooling in development contexts (Copilot CLI, Codex, etc.).
• Solid understanding of CIO principles including debt, architecture, resilience and TCO.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery across multiple teams with clear outcomes and realistic plans.
• Own complex technology initiatives with governance, risk management, and reporting.
• Translate ambiguous objectives into executable milestones and measurable outcomes.
• Ensure platform health, manage technical debt, resilience and long-term cost of ownership.
• Review where AI can assist in requirements analysis and digital change management.
• Balance business value delivery with debt and operational support while maintaining quality.
