Job description

As a Barclays Technology Delivery Lead, you will be an integral part of the Wholesale Lending Technology team responsible for project management, technology delivery, and coordination of change and governance for the Wholesale Lending businesses across the Investment and Corporate Bank. As a senior technologist, you will engage with multiple technology teams and business stakeholders to deliver a strategic initiative for the bank over the next three years.

We offer a hybrid working model that combines onsite presence with remote work. Colleagues are expected to work at an onsite location on fixed days, with a minimum of two days per week, as determined by the business area. What will you be doing?

1. Involved in delivering all technical change across impacted areas, including articulating program vision and translating it into a comprehensive delivery plan.
2. Creating high-level and detailed design documents, managing end-to-end technical delivery plans, and overseeing dependencies.
3. Managing technical delivery teams and collaborating with other work streams to design, define, and realize solutions that meet business needs.
4. Working with colleagues across domains to successfully implement changes to operational practices and technological capabilities.
5. Playing a key role in implementation, cutover planning, readiness, execution, and service introduction.
6. Exceling in stakeholder engagement, team management, and driving technical innovation to ensure program success.

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Experience in financial services technology, preferably in lending.
• Experience integrating Salesforce solutions with proprietary systems.
• Knowledge of project management tools, techniques, and methodologies, including waterfall and agile.

Where will you be working?

You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford, at the Barclays Technology Campus. The campus features extensive facilities, including an onsite gym, outdoor sports areas, restaurants, and coffee shops, set in a scenic 64-acre environment.
