Job summary

Itchyfeet Recruitment Agency seeks a Manager to lead the Technology Consulting practice, delivering assurance across clients’ digital environments including cyber security, data, and AI systems.

The role focuses on advancing the technology practice, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coaching junior staff while coordinating onshore and offshore teams to meet scope, time, and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Project management certification (e.g., AgilePM, PRINCE2, Scrum Master).
• Experience delivering technology projects or software-enabled transformations in professional services.
• Experience leading onshore and offshore development teams.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage priorities.
• Proficient in business analysis and stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of delivering as a product owner or technical product owner.
• Technical understanding to engage with developers and solution architects.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
• Team leadership and mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of client-facing and internal technology projects.
• Define scope, plans, milestones, and responsibilities to meet time, budget, and quality.
• Act as a technical product owner, prioritising backlog and delivering clear requirements.
• Facilitate workshops with clients to define requirements and business processes.
• Manage and prioritise project and product backlogs balancing value and risks.
• Coordinate onshore and offshore development teams for quality outcomes.
• Bridge business needs and technical considerations through effective communication.
• Challenge designs with developers and architects to ensure secure, scalable solutions.
• Provide timely reporting on progress, risks, and financial performance.
• Identify and resolve issues and dependencies to maintain momentum.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and mentor junior team members.
