Job summary

Orbis, London, seeks a technology lawyer with 3-6 years post-qualification experience to join the Global Legal Team in our London office. You will work closely with Technology, Information Security, Risk, Operations and Investment teams, guiding technology procurement, AI governance and data protection across the business.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years post-qualification experience in technology, commercial or data/privacy law.
• Experience negotiating complex technology agreements.
• Experience advising on technology procurement and vendor management.
• Strong data protection, privacy and information governance knowledge.
• Interest in AI and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead legal support for technology procurement and ongoing management of technology solutions.
• Negotiate and advise on software, data licensing, outsourcing, services and consulting agreements.
• Develop AI governance policies, standards and guidance.
• Advise on global data protection and privacy requirements and information governance.
• Partner with senior Technology leadership on strategic initiatives and risk management.
