We Are Hiring

• Department: Monitor Room
• Schedule: Full Time Days; 7a-7p, every 5th weekend
• Hospital: UAB St. Vincent's East

What You Will Do

Perform various activities related to telemetry monitoring for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.

• Oversee and communicate cardiac patterns on telemetric devices.
• Maintain telemetry monitoring equipment and supply inventory.
• Document irregular rhythms and monitor changes in heartbeat.
• Report changes to nurses and/or attending physicians for analysis and interpretation.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of relevant, job-specific experience required.
  Note: Professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
