Thames Water in Ashford Common is seeking a Mechanical Engineer/Technician to maintain and repair mechanical plant across water production and transfer processes. You will work on pumps, dosing pumps, and identify faults, carrying out planned maintenance and repairs to minimise customer impact.
The role requires a time-served apprenticeship or NVQ/C&G level 3 in mechanical engineering, driving licence, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work at the Ashford Common - TW15 1RU Water production site.
Base Location: Ashford Common - TW15 1RU.
Working Pattern: 38 hours per week, Monday-Friday. 7:30 am -3:36 pm plus Standby rota payments & Overtime opportunities can increase the earning potential by up to a further £8,000-£10,000 per annum upon completion of essential company training.
