Technician/Receptionist - Hair and Beauty

Location: Worksop

Salary: £24,476 (£20,506.92 Pro-rata) per annum + benefits

Hours: Part time (31 hrs per week, all year round)

The Role

The Technician/Receptionist role is a key position at their Worksop Campus, overseeing the reception of the Innovate Salons, which include 2 hair salons, 2 beauty salons, 1 tanning studio, 1 non-medical aesthetic treatment area, and 1 media make-up studio. You will ensure all clients receive first-class service and have an enjoyable experience, encouraging repeat visits. Responsibilities include planning services and treatments alongside staff, marketing the salons, and developing retail sales to meet targets.

Availability is required during the day, with some evenings and Saturdays.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience working in a salon providing excellent customer service.
• Effective team player with strong organizational skills, able to work accurately and meet deadlines.
• Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths, or willingness to undertake, and a Level 2 Qualification in Business/Customer Service or similar.

Department Info

You will report to a Curriculum Team Leader but have autonomy in your daily work, supporting the Salons operation within the Hair and Beauty Curriculum team.
