Job Summary

The Repair Determination Inspector conducts detailed inspections to assess damage or defects on aircraft components. They evaluate reparability, repair options, and costs using specialized knowledge and experience.

Job Responsibilities

Inspectors perform preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process, and final inspections on civil aviation articles, following technical data, manufacturer’s instructions, Service Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, industry standards, and other accepted data. Responsibilities include:

• Familiarity with inspection methods, techniques, tools, and equipment in their area.
• Maintaining proficiency and ensuring tools and equipment are in proper working order and calibrated.
• Understanding current specifications, tolerances, limitations, and procedures.
• Ensuring inspections are properly performed and recorded, with accurate documentation.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Professional qualification (Diploma or Certificate) in engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in inspection processes.
• Knowledge of C7 rating and ATA 72.
