Job summary

Rentokil Initial Group is seeking a Technician to join our Property Care team at the Lincoln branch, covering the East Coast. You will manage on-site preservation works and client-facing activities, with a focus on delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Experience in property or construction roles is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preservation works on site (e.g., stripping/replacing timber floors, door frames, architraves, windows).
• Support damp proofing and removal of wall coatings (plaster, woodworm treatments, wall ties, cavity drain membrane).
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain high on-site safety standards.
• Adhere to risk assessments and health & safety measures; keep sites clean and tidy.
• Complete other tasks within the branch as required.
• Hold a full UK driving licence for >2 years with ≤6 points.
• Access to company vehicle and fuel card; overtime and leads commission schemes.

Technician Role

As a Technician, you will play a key part in delivering work for our customers on both domestic and commercial jobs. Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out preservation works on site which could include stripping and replacing timber floors, door frames, architraves and windows.
• Supporting with damp proofing and removing of wall coatings including plaster, woodworm treatments, wall tie installation and cavity drain membrane installation.
• Offering valuable advice to customers and providing a high level of service.
• Adhering to all risk assessments and health & safety measures on-site.
• Ensuring any sites are left clean and tidy.
• Completing other required tasks within the branch as required.
• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Experience working as a Labourer or Tradesman within the property or construction industry would be advantageous.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
• You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for.
